The Ridgeline puppy questionnaire

About ten minutes. We read every one ourselves and answer within a week, including when the answer is no. There's no deposit at this stage and nothing to pay online — ever.

This is an example site: here are the questionnaire's steps and its first page of questions. Nothing can be sent from it.

About the questionnaire

Why so many questions about our week?

Because a field-bred Lab alone for nine hours a day becomes a problem dog, and we'd rather find that out now than when it comes back to us at a year old.

Do we have to hunt?

No. Tell us honestly what you'll do with the dog. Non-hunting homes get the calmer puppies and a training plan.

Which litter are we applying for?

The current litter has one place open (Smith, a yellow male). Most applications now are for Rye × Tucker, expected spring 2027 — the questionnaire asks which you mean.

When do we pay anything?

Only after a phone call and our approval: the $500 deposit, by check or card, with a receipt and the contract. Never through this form.
