Boone was the dog who made us a kennel. He hunted twelve seasons, earned his HRCH at three, sired four litters and thirty puppies for us, and slept every night of his life on the same rug by the woodstove. He was still swimming at thirteen. On January 18, 2025 he collapsed on a morning walk; our vet found a bleeding tumor of the spleen — hemangiosarcoma — and we let him go that afternoon, at home, with Matt's hand on him. He is the grandsire of Hazel and Rye and the sire of Skye and Maple. We write his cause of death here because buyers deserve to know what our dogs die of, not only how long they live.

Ridgeline's Pintler Sadie MH — April 2010 – August 2023 (13 years, 4 months). Old age; we let her go when she stopped getting up.
