Finding us
We are in northern Dutchess County, about two hours from Manhattan by car or by Amtrak to Rhinecliff (we collect from the station), 90 minutes from Albany and three hours from Boston. Most of our families live within four hours’ drive.
ashgrovewhippets.com is our only website, and our photos have been copied onto sites that “sell” whippets that don’t exist. We never ship a puppy, by air or by ground transporter, and we never sell a puppy to anyone we have not met. We never ask for gift cards, crypto, Zelle or wire transfers to a third party, and we never add crate, insurance or customs fees. If in doubt, call us on (845) 555-0142.
Before you call
Can we visit?
Yes, and we want you to. Approved families visit the litter from week 5, by appointment, one family at a time: shoes off, hands washed, no visits to other kennels or dog parks the same day. Before a litter, anyone is welcome to meet our adults. Far away? We do a video call first, but you must meet us before go-home day.
Do you ship?
No. Every puppy is collected here, by you, after you have seen where it was raised and met its mother. If you are a day’s drive away we can sometimes meet you halfway with a second visit — never a parking-lot handover with a stranger.
