Tansy is twelve, white-faced and entirely in charge. She is Hazel’s daughter, the mother of Wren and Juno, and the dog most of our families met first. She had three litters between 2016 and 2021 and then retired to the good end of the sofa, under a blanket, from October to May. A cardiologist heard a soft murmur last year and the echo showed early mitral valve change, which is common in older whippets; she needs no medication yet and is rechecked every twelve months. We publish that because it is true and because her daughters were echoed clear before they were bred.
