Juno is Tansy’s youngest daughter and the dog visitors remember. She is brindle and white, 20 inches, and moves with almost no wasted effort, which is what finished her grand championship at two. On the coursing field she is honest rather than flashy: she follows the lure, she doesn’t cut corners, and she still runs it like it matters. At home she is the one who checks the gate is latched. She was a patient, slightly fussy mother to the Orchard litter, her first, and was back on the sofa by week six. Her one fault: she will steal a sandwich off a plate at eye level.
