Tucker is a hunting dog first. He'll sit a cold blind for three hours and he'll take a straight line through cattails he can't see over, which is what earned him his Hunting Retriever Championship at three. He's 78 pounds and gentle about it: our neighbor's kids learned to throw a bumper with him. He's clear on every test the LRC lists and on the optional ones, carries both yellow and chocolate, and has an advanced cardiac exam every two years because he stands at stud. He has sired two litters for us and three outside litters.
