Ceo was the dog who started Fernhill. Ciarán bought her as a farm dog in 2010 from the Knockmealdown kennel in Co. Waterford and Niamh took her to a show for fun; three years later she was an Irish Champion and we had registered an affix. She had two litters, in 2013 and 2016, and Tess is her daughter. She loved the sea at Brittas Bay more than anything on the farm. She died at home on 19 January 2024, at thirteen years and ten months, of kidney failure that we had managed for a year. Every dog we have now goes back to her.
