Privacy notice
Who is responsible
This website is a preview: The Kennel Website Company built it for Fernhill Australian Shepherds and runs it until its owner takes it over. Until then, the controller of your data on this website is: The Kennel Website Company, USA, email: sufyan@honestdog.de.
Hosting and visiting this website
The Kennel Website Company runs this website and uses the following processors to do so: Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg) for servers, database and file storage in Frankfurt am Main (region eu-central-1), including serving the web pages and images through Amazon CloudFront and email via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). Your data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt am Main). Amazon CloudFront may process your page request outside the EU as well, including in the USA; these transfers are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it (Article 45 GDPR) and otherwise by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Every visit involves technically necessary data – such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and details of your browser – to deliver the pages and keep them secure. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests in a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website sets no cookies and embeds no third-party tracking or analytics services. To know how many people visit, it counts page views itself: which page was opened, from which website (only that website's address, such as google.com), from which country and on which kind of device (phone, tablet or computer). Views are counted only when your browser runs JavaScript. Nothing is stored on your device, and the count holds neither your IP address nor any identifier, so it cannot be traced back to you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests in knowing what is read and how visitors find the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your application through the form
If you send an application through this website's form, the details you give there are processed: your name, your contact details (email address and, where given, phone number and place of residence) and your answers to the form's questions. So that nothing is lost, your entries are saved as a draft while you fill the form in; a draft you never send is deleted one day after its last change.
You do not have to give us these details; without the answers marked as required, however, your application cannot be dealt with.
The Kennel Website Company processes these details to pass your application on to the website's owner: they receive an email with your name and a fit score computed from your answers, and can read the full application in the website's back office in order to contact you. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The fit score is computed automatically from your answers and helps with the assessment; a person decides, not the score. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests in careful and prompt handling (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Once you send the form, you receive a confirmation by email.
How long data is kept
This preview, with everything received through it, is deleted 14 days after it was created unless the website is taken over. If its owner takes it over, they become the controller of your details from then on, and The Kennel Website Company processes them on the owner's behalf as their processor.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests. To use any of these rights, write to sufyan@honestdog.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU or EEA country where you live or work (Article 77 GDPR); in Switzerland, with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). We would appreciate the chance to deal with your concern first.
