Lasair is the puppy we kept from Sorcha's first litter, and she is very much her mother's daughter: busy, nosy, and convinced every gate is hers to open. She is the softest of our dogs with children and the least interested in stock — she will work ducks with enthusiasm and sheep politely. Her future is agility, where Niamh thinks she will be the best dog we have had. She turns two and a half this autumn; we wanted every result in, and a second clear eye exam, before we planned a litter for her. She carries one copy of MDR1, like her mother.
