Wren × Rory, spring 2027

Why Wren and Rory

Wren has the best hips we have ever bred (2:3, total 5) and a lovely, gentle temperament. She also needs a few things from a mate: more bone, a deeper chest, and, because she is an ICT-A carrier, a dog who is ICT-A clear. We watched Rory at shows for three seasons before we asked Morag. He is all of those things. He is also a Show Champion with a working certificate, and his first nine puppies to be hip-scored average a total of 9.

Their predicted COI is 2.1%. No puppy can be affected by ichthyosis, but about half will be carriers. Each puppy will be DNA-tested before it goes home, and we will tell you the result. That matters only if your dog is ever bred from.

Nothing is certain until Wren comes into season, which we expect in February 2027. If it doesn't work out, we will tell everyone on the list straight away, and nobody loses anything.

Every puppy will go home with

  • Royal Kennel Club registration and the signed transfer of ownership
  • Five-generation pedigree
  • Copies of both parents' hip, elbow, eye and DNA certificates
  • Microchip, transferred to you on Petlog the day you take your puppy home
  • First vaccination (Nobivac DHP + L4) at 8 weeks, with the vaccination card
  • Wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, plus a flea treatment, all recorded
  • Vet health check at 8 weeks, with the written report
  • BVA/RKC/ISDS litter eye-screen certificate
  • Four weeks' free insurance, starting the moment you leave
  • The Puppy Contract (RSPCA / Animal Welfare Foundation), plus our own contract of sale
  • Puppy pack: 2 kg of the food they are on, a blanket that smells of Bramble, a toy, a collar and lead, and our puppy folder (diet sheet, routine, socialisation record)
  • Our phone number for the dog's whole life, and a promise to take them back at any age

Price

We expect the price to stay at £2,200. We confirm it when the litter is born, not before, and the deposit is only taken after that.
